@perkalov Ssshhh..im going to tell you a little secret..Airlines don’t give a shit about their employees safety when i comes to bags..case in point..i told my manager that i couldn’t lift a seriously heavy bag and suggested it shouldn’t go on the plane because it was too heavy to lift..guess what i got? a big fat “TOO BAD and put it on the plane anyway”…as long as they are getting money for it airlines don’t care what trouble that causes the people who are actually doing the job.

I’m taking my luggage on board with me when I fly United next month. I don’t need them damaging any of my belongings…even if I have to cram everything into a small suitcase so it can be a carry on.

I wish they would post a song about my horrific experience with United. The Customer Service offers no help. You can’t speak to a human being. They require you to write an email with your complaint and they don’t respond back. SHAME ON YOU UNITED!!! I am glad the pilot on my flight told me to file a formal complaint with United. It’s bad when your own pilot is upset with the company.

My point exactly. And if exhausting their staff its bound to happend accidents. With the employees, the luggage or in worst case the airplane, thou this is rather hard regulated by laws and regulations.

Having insufficiant staff or equipment is asking for accidents. Having a crappy customer service/policies is asking for bad publicity when crap happend.

And this is why I fail to have any sympathy with, in this case, United Airlines.

This is a great song. I’ve also endured the pain of having a guitar severly damaged beyond repair. I’ve seen the baggage handlers contempt for musical instruments for myself. IMO, to baggage handlers the word ‘Fragile’ seems to mean “throw harder”"

Tomorrow I’m flying with United, but I am NOT taking any checked luggage. All my stuff is all carry-on, and for a good reason.
